Established by Ruth and Eber Pollard, former President and Treasurer, respectively, of the Guelph Historical Society, the Ruth and Eber Pollard International Scholarship recognizes students with a passion for Canadian History and ongoing involvement in exercise, wellness, or athletics. The University of Guelph will award one scholarship of $1,000 to be distributed in the fall, provided the recipient is enrolled in their program.

Eligibility Criteria
The Ruth and Eber Pollard International Scholarship is open to both Canadian-PR-PP and Non-Canadian-PR-PP students who meet international admission requirements for undergraduate programs at the University of Guelph and have the necessary English proficiency.

Application Process:
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must first take Admission in an undergraduate program at the University of Guelph. Then, by May 15, they must apply to the Department of History with a letter of up to two pages outlining their academic credentials in History and ongoing commitment to exercise and wellness.
